What most teenagers do when they are unhappy with how they look and feel is try every diet that comes their way on Tik-Tok or Facebook… They may try random “detox programs”, or “magic shakes”, or starve themselves for days, only to end up overeating after a few days and gain back all the weight, feeling more frustrated, sad and desperate. How I created the LIfestyle For Teens – LIFT Program

I know how you feel, I was like you! Here’s the story:
When I was a teenager, I was constantly dieting in high school. That would only last a few days and then I went back to eating daily croissants. My number one priority was to get to medical school and I used food to handle the stress associated with all the exams. I was not comfortable with my body and I felt deprived. Years later, I learned about all the hormones that regulate our hunger and how healthy habits and proper food can regulate these hormones. I also discovered that a lot of the overeating happens because we can’t control our stress and disappointments. And finally, I never thought of myself as an “athletic type” and exercise was a burden. Now, I can’t imagine my life without going to the gym.
I have seen many teenagers who struggle with their weight and a lot of them already have diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, depression, anxiety, body image issues and eating disorders. Most of them have tried everything out there and are looking for help from someone they trust to build healthy habits that last. And then one day I realized I needed to create a program for families like yours, because If I don’t do it, these teenagers will just continue doing the same unsuccessful strategies they have been doing so far.
There is nothing more rewarding to me than helping teens build a healthy lifestyle so they can feel happier, less stressed, and love their body again.

The LIFT program is designed by a pediatric endocrinologist, obesity medicine specialist and certified weight loss coach, who understands the importance of achieving and maintaining a healthy weight via a lifestyle change. The LIFT program is a safe and sustainable program for life, that each family can adjust to their own cultural background. It’s not a magic secret diet, it’s about the mindset behind following a lifestyle.
The LIFT program is designed in a way that teenagers work along with their moms. This is done because teens get better results when their family is involved in helping them create a healthy lifestyle.
The LIFT program offers a safe space for families with teens where they can express their struggles without judgment. You can feel understood and connect with other families that face the same challenges.
Teens and their moms will be coached in two separate live coaching groups each week. I will give your family my full attention, so that both moms and teens have the dedicated time they need to have their unique concerns addressed.
Each coaching group of the LIFT program will be restricted to a maximum of 25 pairs of teenager-mom participants. I want to make sure you get all the attention you deserve during your time with me and that you have the opportunity to feel like family with other members of the group.
MOMS:
- At the end of the LIFT program, as a mom, you will stop feeling frustrated about what to do to help your teen build healthy habits.
- You will have the burden of this responsibility out of your shoulders- I will do all the teaching/coaching with your teen so you don’t have to create tense relationships.
- You will also learn, along with your child, how to eat healthy and be a role model for your family.
- You will learn how to cook healthy meals for the whole family easily.
- You can also create healthier habits yourself, depending on your starting point and your personal commitment to the program.
TEENS:
- At the end of the LIFT program, as a teen, you will know how to lead a healthy lifestyle without drama and frustration.
- You will learn how to cook healthy meals easily so you don’t depend on your mom to prepare your food! That’s a skill that will be helpful for the rest of your life!
- You will learn simple fitness exercises that will help you build stronger muscles.
- If you take massive action, you will be happier, more confident and less stressed out.
- You will know how to handle the urges and avoid overeating.
- You will learn a new way of eating that is not restrictive.
- Maybe you will have more weight to lose or maybe they will be at their ideal weight, that will depend on your starting point and how much personal commitment you will put to the program.
